i have a mighty mule 200 single gate opener and i'm curious if anyone has put a power supply on these in place of the battery? the wiring for the battery is 18ga. wire so it must not have much amp draw when in use. it might have a short amp draw during first startup but then my guess is drops off fast. it actually uses garage door button wire.
anyway i'm getting tired of putting new lawn mower batteries on it and i have been using 2 stair lift batteries now in parallel but if i can just get a 30 amp power supply and run it on that it would be better.
has anyone hear converted one of these over to a power supply? thanks
