Hi,

Many thanks piglet11.

Our nearest Homebase is Bradford so it's a store I never visit. Is Homebase flat pack like the old MFI and current IKEA. I've assembled flat pack for neighbours but I'd never buy any for our own use. Yes flat pack is terrible to assemble; it's certainly heavy stuff and as you say I think it has a limited life span.

Yes the steel pipe sounds like a putlog; dangerous if you drop it on your foot. I've not seen a steel galvanized bucket for yours; it's plastic I now see with a wire or plastic handle; the old galvanized bucket handles made brilliant pointing tools, I think I've still got one that's well worn.

Rain is a way of life here in West Yorkshire (UK); I think West Yorkshire is a spelling mistake; it should be WET Yorkshire; more rain is forecast this afternoon but why do we need weather forecasters; if we have the miracle of two consecutive dry warm days the pond runs dry and we are then into hosepipe bans and threat of standpipes; I bet few watering cans are sold locally.

I've just done the shopping so now it's time to get off my backside and apply the lining paper in the bathroom before another day disappears at an alarming pace.

Sorry for hijacking your thread steambc.

Kind regards, Col.
