Just joined the world of woodworking.
I bought this used Charnwood w610 table dated 2003-2004 and I am stuck trying to figure out the reasons why the router table has 4 square holes.
also why the left hand side of the table saw has square holes also…
is there also a zero insert design that can be made for this table saw incorporating the riving knife?

Look forward to hearing from anyone who knows of or perhaps has a similar table saw model to mine.
