Hi,
For many years I used linseed oil putty and never liked it so when I replaced the double glazing units to the front of our bungalow I switched to this;
This is double sided self adhesive and really sticks being very easy indeed to use; it comes in a number of widths; I like to use a wider than needed width then trim once installed; care is needed to get it right first time. Before installing I use sharp scissors to remove the overhanging plastic backing from one edge allowing better fitting. Clean and paint the rebates first for better protection.
Where are all the DIY'ers these days?
