Hi All. I live in northeast PA and have a 2 line oil furnace fed from an in-house oil tank at pump level. I currently trans-fill from outside tanks (about 8' above the pump) when the inside tank gets low. I plan to feed the pump direct from the outside tanks and decommission the inside tank and end this trans-filling deal. To do this I will install an OSV and Tigerloop to handle the tank elevation and 2 line arrangement. My question is regarding use of additives with the Tigerloop. I get occasional gelling in the outside tank valves and intend to start using anti-gel additives in the oil. But at 7 min 46 sec into this YouTube vid (
) they say additives could damage the Tigerloop. Has anyone successfully used anti-gel additives with a Tigerloop? Or any bad experiences doing this?
