Hello - this is happening, every 45 seconds, 24 hours a day and it's driving me mad!

I have no problem with fixing myself, I fitted a new valve in a different toilet the other day to fix a different problem. I just need some help to identify what's causing this and what parts I would potentially need to procure. Even if it's just an adjustment required. I just can't afford to call out a plumber right now, so any advice would be greatly appreciated as to what's causing this.
I have a couple of Sottini toilets in a relatively new build property that haven’t been great since we purchased. I have tried replacing the valve as I was advised by a friend but hasn’t fixed the issue. This little clip here shows water escaping from the top of the part, then it refills the cistern again to replace this escape every 45 secs and I believe could be costing me in water usage. Is this something that just needs adjusting or do I need to purchase a part to repair?
E7889 is under the cistern lid.
