I have a shed with no windows (so can't see if a light or anything else has been left on) has anyone got a circuit I could use to fit an LED (in some suitable enclosure) to the outside of the shed to use as an indicator to show whether any mains current is being drawn. Sometimes I have machines running in the shed for a few hours and forget to turn them off. Some sort of current drain indicator would save my old legs.

What about one of those energy monitors, looped around the cable to the shed, you could see if any voltage & watts being used ... Hence machinery still on...sell them in B&Q. Or your mains supplier may give you one
