Selecting a Meter Base

I have had an engineer review my requirements, assess my home / detached garage and do load calculations independently of an electrical contractor. Now it is time to understand and select products and an electrical contractor to do the work.

I need to upgrade the meter base from the current 200A to 400A (continuous load not-to-exceed 320A). The meter base will hold the meter and then split 200A to the main house panel and a 200A feeder to a detached garage.

What configuration options are available and most commonly recommended.

Anyone have any suggestions?
Do I need to provide more information?

Thanks,
