Just wanted to ask you before I throw out my old mixer if you think it can be fixed. I'm fairly technical, have studied computer engineering, but I am not super good as analog electronics. Can solder though. When I connect the mixer, this little card send out sparks. I guess it is a switched transformer. Do you think I can replace it or the components on it and if replacing components, how can I figure out which one is broken? The sparks are coming between the left yellow capacitor and the little coil btw...
