I’ve moved my washing machine and dryer upstairs to a bathroom I’m remodelling. There’s an old waste water pipe from the bath that I’d like to plumb both in to.
However, I’m not sure on the best way to do this. I don’t really want to use a standpipe (as it’ll be on show), so I may as well plumb both in to a dual washing machine connector (with trap) like this:
However, I wondered if this may cause vacuum issues and I’ll need to use an air admittance valve on top, rather than just capping it off.
I’d be grateful for any advice on this one!
