Pliers Set Recommendations

I've got some non-VDE pliers (side-cut, needle nose and combi) that are reaching the end of their life. They were only a cheap set from B&Q about 10 years ago, so I'm not too heart-broken.

The nice Bahco and CK pliers are pretty expensive and I don't think I could justify paying £80 for a set of 3 at the moment, so I wondered if there were any recommendations for something a bit more cost effective?

I'm tempted to just get this £20 set from Screwfix, as it'll likely do me:

They're VDE, which isn't a requirement - but it's nice to have, However, if I could get something quality for around £40 for a set of 3, then I'd rather spend a bit more.

Ian, I have a set of Channel Lock pliers that is 45 years old and they still function perfectly. I also have a 3 piece set of Craftsman pliers that have lasted for decades. I have a couple sets of junk pliers that I use in bad conditions.

Second for Channellock and Craftsman. Husky and Kobalt are house brands at HD and Lowes.

Thanks guys, I've not heard of Channel Lock before, but they do them at my local Screwfix so I'll have a read up .
