Hey everyone,
I am installing an in-wall oven in a cupboard in my kitchen. I took out the old one, and need to widen the cut out for the new one.
There was brick veneer surrounding he old oven. I have removed the veneer, but some of the particle board was damaged behind, and much of the mortar is still left.
I plan to put newer tiles up to aurrround the oven. I would use cement board, but need a flat surface.
I am looking for ideas on a direction to go next. Any suggestions for removing excess mortar and filling the veneer? Reconstructing the wall of the cupboard by putting a new board up seems more complicated, but less messy.
Please throw your suggestions my way!
Thanks
Dale
