Hi all
After some advice on this.
I want to control a new outside LED (low wattage) light off an existing 1 gang switch inside the house.
I am thinking that I can swap the single gang for a double gang switch, run T&E from the switch to a suitable point the wall, drill thru and attach the light. Following all the usual precautions around drilling at an angle etc
I was thinking of terminating the T&E in an RCD fused spur (such as a Powerbreaker RCD ) and then running hituf cable outside thru the wall into the back of the light fitting.
The light circuit in the house is not on an RCD currently at the CU and it makes sense to me to fit one
Thoughts appreciated
Thanks
