I own a condo on the 1st floor of a 4 unit, converted Victorian home in chilly New England, just north of Boston.
We have 1 furnace in the basement (installed in 2015 before I purchased my unit).
We have 1 thermostat which controls the temperature of over 3,000 sq. ft. of living space. The thermostat is on a wall on the 2nd floor at the landing at the top of the stairs.
I freeze. My upstairs neighbors sweat.
Is it possible to create a 2nd zone with a thermostat on the 1st floor which will control the heat for the 2 condo units in that floor?
