I am in the process of wiring a new double socket to an existing 13a fcu.
The fcu switches the outdoor security light and a immersion heater timer. The immersion heater is defunct and the timer can be taken out.
Can I use the cableing coning out of the fcu to the timer to feed the socket - ie controlled by the switch? Or would it be better to remove the timer cableing and wire this in with the main caqble which feeds into the fcu? Or doesn't it matter.
