I have an old inspection chamber about 300mm diameter located on a right angle bend in the 110mm foul drain.
I want to add a new pipe going off in the other direction with a rodding eye at the other end. However whereas a new inspection chamber with an additional branch would do the job, the existing one is located partly under a wall foundation and would be too big a job to remove and replace with the new. (Though I'm normally game for anything!)
My question is, would it be feasible to core drill a new hole in the side of the chamber and insert the new pipe and seal? Is there a fitting that would enable me to do this? I can't find one.
I'm sure the answer is no but there's no harm in asking.
