Hi there,
I have 2 bedrooms in my house that have a curved ceiling and since winter mould has formed on the curve. I have gotten 5 different professionals in now and each have given me 5 different reasons for the problem.
I think it might be an insulation issue myself causing a cold bridge as the curve feels very warm compared to the flat part of the ceiling. The only thing is that I am getting a moisture reading of 1.2 to 3.6% so I'm not sure if condensation would cause that much damp.
Also, it hasn't rained for a long time in Ireland so I would have thought it would have driebyin the summer heat?
Any idea what the issue could be and what I can do to prevent it happening further this winter?
If it is a cold bridge would something like Wallrock thermal liner work or would I need insulating plasterboard installed?
