Hi everyone! I am wondering if anyone could tell me how to level an old uneven sagging floor in an old house so I can lay new and even flooring down. The floor Is on a slope in multiple rooms in a potential house id like to buy and fix up. Is this something I could do myself? Or will it be a very expensive project to pay someone to do? I know there is a self leveling compound however I'm not sure if this would correct sloping and uneven floors. Thank you for your help in advance.

Without knowing more, I'd suggest you look at a different house. Sloping and sagging floors might mean poor workmanship, or deteriorated (rotten) framing, or settling foundations. If you just must have this particular headache - oops, I meant house - have a professional evaluate it. Otherwise, you may be shocked at the cost of repairs.
