Hey, guys got myself into a bit of a pickle here... So I started renovating my living room and want to install these POLK ceiling speakers however this ceiling is solid concrete and I currently only have one socket installed that was previously used for my hanging fan. Now I have no idea how I'm going to install the conduit piping for all the wires to go through and connect... Any ideas, please need help!

If it were my house, I'd fit a suspended ceiling. I wouldn't fancy having conduit on the ceiling.

My wife wanted spotlights in our kitchen. So I batoned it out 4" below the original ceiling. I used the wiring to the
original two ceiling lights, connecting it to four spotlights each. The original light switch on the wall remained.

I then plasterboarded it and got a plasterer in to skim it.

I guess if I wanted speakers in the ceiling, I could have fitted them at the same time.
No one notices that this ceiling is a bit lower than any of the other ceilings on the ground floor.
