Hello
Noticed my freezer fan was making a bit of a racket & the fridge was not cold.
When i opened the door the noise would stop. Close it and the noise would start again.
Had the noise problem with the fan before where ice had accumulated. Removed the inner back panel
of the freezer unit with the intention of removing the ice around the fan. I had the power still on so
the fan was spinning at this point.
While defrosting the fan with a heat gun, as i have always done, the fan stopped. Doesn't matter
if either fridge or freezer doors are open or closed it won't spin now.
Removed the freezer fan and tested it in my workshop and it works fine.
Any idea's anyone?
