Howdy y'all,
I have a GE ZoneLine (Model AZ61H09DABW1) that I want to connect to a Honeywell RTH9585WF thermostat. The air handler is a 240V/20A unit with electric heat, heat pump, and AC. It also has low & high speed fan settings. I can disable the HVAC onboard thermostat and make the Honeywell thermostat work in basic mode. What I need to understand is two fold 1) I believe I'm running the unit in electric heat only mode (no heat pump) and 2) I have the G wire going to the high speed fan only. I'm trying to understand how to fully wire this unit so I can use the heat pump & low & high speed fan.
The GE has the terminal connection for "B" or the black wire for Solenoid. The Honeywell has W, O/B going to the same terminal. Do I jam both wires from W & B to the same block on the Honeywell?
How do I control for both fan speeds?
