Greetings friends,
I am planning to turn a large closet into a 3rd bathroom. This house is all wood foundation. I'm not a builder and don't know what things are called, but I'll try to explain how the floor is built. In the area I want to put in a shower, the floor is made of diagonal interlocking 1x3 pine, topped with 1 1/8" plywood, glued onto the underlayment (the 1x3 interlocking pine board). Suffice to assume that the floor is strong and rigid - it doesn't move. I am wondering if there is a liquid rubber product that I could paint right on to the plywood for a shower floor. Any thoughts on this would be helpful to me and appreciated. Thanks.
