Hi. We've just moved into a three story house. Got most our stuff in but my partner has a wardrobe that is a metal frame with oak panels screwed into it. We can't quite manoeuvre it up the stairs, there just isn't the clearance to get to the first floor. Though if we can get it to the first we've got more space to play with.
I've taken it back to it's frame and carried the wood panels up on their own. My idea now is to lift the frame up to the first floor where we have a Juliet balcony. The frame is 19kg, so isn't too heavy. I was thinking a rope on each corner of the frame and then just lifting it over. Having measured it it should just fit, if not, I may have to pop the doors off.
Am I missing anything? Am I thinking this through correctly? Does anyone have any tips please? Wondering about what rope/cable to use etc.
Thanks in advance.
