Does anyone have some advice on starting a generator (model GENRAC GP15000 E -3yrs old)that had old gas in it and now will not start?
Things tried new battery, drain gas and filled w/new gas using sea foam, new fuel filter, new spark plugs.
When spraying starter fluid into the carb. it will start and then stall as soon as the fluid is gone.

Thanks,

Well, it's definitely related to fuel. Drain fuel again, pull off hose to carb and replace. Go to local Yamaha shop and by their carb soak cleaner. Pour cleaner into hose going to carb, let set for a day. Drain carb, refill tank with fresh sta-bil treated gas. If this doesn't help carb will have to be taken off and soaked in same yamaha carb cleaner. Take apart and blow air through ALL orifices. I've had great success with the first method on numerous four wheelers. Caution using sea foam in gas tanks, be prepared with several fuel filters. If much debris is coated to tank it will come loose and clog filter(s), even though they don't look plugged. Good luck !!
