Gas furnace error code 33

I have a gas furnace carrier weather maker 9200. It is giving error code for open roll out or limit switch. The blower motor continues to run, there is no power to my thermostat. I have checked the roll out switch with my meter and it shows the switch to be closed and in working order. I have checked the fuse on the circuit board and it is good. I have shut the power off to the unit many times and when powered back up it goes directly to the fault and blower motor turns on and I get the same error mesg. What could possibly be the issue... thermostat, circuit board??
