Hi,
My newly bought bungalow has a front door lock different from all other Euro locks I have met.
I have got used to front doors that need the key to be turned to lock them, so I walk out, close the door .... WRONG! The door is now locked, and I can't get back indoors again. OK, similar to the traditional Yale lock, but not what I've grown used to. The door can be opened from the inside, just by turning the handle, but needs both the handle and a key from the outside. Not convenient if both the back gate and back door are locked.
Is fixing this just a case of changing the Ero lock, or is it a differnt type of latch?
