Eave Vents Don't match

Hi,

I bought a home and one side of the roof has under eave vents that are 4 inches, while the other side of the roof they are 6 inches, the two roofs are are different slopes (2:12 and 4:12). Is there a simple way to raise the 4 inch side of the roof to six inches (I have seen videos on tapered boards) or is this something I should not be concerned about? I am currently reroofing the house, which is why I am considering it now.
