Dishwasher not stopping at end of cycle

Miele Dishwasher_Model G560 (27 years old, but looks like new)

Machine intermittently runs through the end of cycle, needing Manual shut-off
What is the fault, and can I fix it myself

Otherwise, works properly !

Try having it check to someone who understands circuit boards. My guess is there might be something loose and will just require some soldering.
