May I have some help and advice please.
I have a Clarke BC130 Car Battery charger which is three years old and it has developed a fault. To get it start charging a battery you have to touch the two charging clips together to produce a small spark. It will then charge the battery with a constant 10 amps but it will not decrease the charging rate.
Secondly, the trickle charge option does not work at all.
It would be all too easy to go out and buy another but I do not agree with " throw it out and buy another " attitude whilst there may be the possibility of repairing the charger or having it repaired.
Does anybody know what could be wrong with it and what could be done to repair it.
Thank you
