Have ceiling water damage on a 1954 ceiling. what is this wallboard? 1 inch thick with plaster and sheetrock?
what is the best way to cut it with? I cut circles for lights through it before, but never a big patch.
What is best way to patch? (1/2 plywood strips on joists and 1/2 sheetrock?) (was the closest combo i could see, although minutely thicker)
any info appreciated.
