Ceiling Light Wont Work

I recently replaced my basement ceiling lamp holder with chain. I rewired it exactly how it was before and it worked for about 3 weeks. All of a sudden the light no longer works except if the White wire is touching the metal electrical box. Any help in fixing this problem would be appreciated.

You need to go back and check your connections. It sounds as if the White conductor has come loose and the circuit cannot be completed.
