Black and Decker hedge trimmer switch to motor resistor burnt out

What can I replace the resistor with?

Replace it with another resistor of the same value but a higher power rating. These can be found online from several dealers.

I don’t know what it’s value is as the colours are burnt off so a rough guide would help.

Thanks for that , toolsand parts have a complete wire connector with the resistor in it, have ordered one
