I was on the point of ordering a 1500mm x 450mm x 4mm mirror to fix onto the front of a gloss-finish sliding wardrobe door, when I was told the firm in question won't to do the fitting when it's a sliding door (as against a hinged wardrobe door). Unfortunately I could not get an explanation as to why this is but obviously it has spooked me about pursuing my plan. If it's ok to fit a mirror onto a wardrobe door why is it too risky if that is a sliding door? I door need to decide quickly whether it is viable (I assumed it would be a matter of using the right glue) as I have only so long to return and replace my wardrobe (but would rather avoid doing that really). The doors are 15mm thick and seem well constructed. What's the risk here and also what adhesives would be recommended? thanks!
