Armchair spring replacement

And any thoughts on the long thin parts? They look like tension springs but are also supported by a set of 3 cross pieces (the beige coloured paper/threaded pieces you can see). The assembly of the thin bits and the cross pieces looks like a whole piece because the thin bits (?tension springs) pierce through the cross pieces.
I wondered if you can get ready assemble things like that anymore, and if it’s a thing!
The chair is 34 years old.
Is it likely there’s a webbing attached to the frame at the far end, to attach the tension springs to? (I.e. the opposite end to where the larger springs are)

Your best bet is to ring Parker Knoll.
Give 'em some sob story about how "it's your grannies favourite chair," and you need some "professional advice," those two words can work wonders with some, when you need something.
