aerial splitters

i want to put a new tv in our bedroom and wondering if i can put an aerial splitter in the aerial connection on the back of an existing tv and run a coaxial cable to the new tv.

As long as the signal strength is already good, and the lengths involved aren't huge, should be no problem!
