Hello all,
Im hoping someone here can help me out with this as im a bit stumped here.
I just moved into a new place, got my gas cooker installed but i think i need a hood, reason being the window is a huge old style sash window which dips well below the worktop which runs across it, so i cant open it from the bottom sash
And the handles to pull the top sash down obviously are over and above the rear of the worktop that cuts across so im pretty screwed there and i think a hood is whats called for to get rid of everything.
The exterior wall has some kind of extractor fan with a pull cord - it's a 6inch or so hole drilled through the wall to the outside with a pull cord fan attached on interior and some kinda louvre closing on the exterior. Sadly it does almost nothing to help lol but it is just to the left of where the hood would go - would this hole be ok for the hoods ducting to run through maybe?
Also any ideas of the cost would be useful
Thanks in advance
