Hi All

I have a Potterton EP2001 Heating controller, I would like to replace this with an RF based controller so we can have the thermostat / controll remote from whichever room we wish to have warmer.

We were looking at the Honeywell RF Chronotherm but I am unsure if something like this can replace the EP2001.

If we ever move home we would like to keep whatever RF controller we purchase and put the old EP2001 back (if possible).

I have a number of photos uploaded on my webserver but im unable to post the links here to show the wiring as this is my first post, so i will do my best to explain the wiring backplate:

A: 1x Brown , 1X Blue
B: 1x White
C: 1XRed, 1X Brown
D: 1X Orange, 1X Red, 1X Brown
N: 1X Blue, 1X Green
L: 2X Red, 1X Brown
1: Empty
2: Empty
3: 1X Brown
4: 1X Black
5: 1X Red, 1X Yellow, 1X Grey

From looking i can see these all connect to the following:

Water tank with thermostat.
Room Thermostat which is place is a ridiculous place.
A Water pump looks like a big pot with a PSI dial on
Finally the oil boiler.

I hope this helps and makes some sense to someone??? any advice on what could work with this would be fantastic.

Many thanks
